| Graco Comfort Sport Car Seat Review |

This is a fairly common concern about convertible auto seats, so we were expecting this. On installing the Comfort Sport carseat in the back seat of our GMC Jimmy, we spotted we couldn't drive the car! We had to move the driving seat so far up that we could not slot in the front seat! We would have liked to place the convertible auto seat on the driver's side since we have another infant behind the passenger's seat. We figured the convertible auto seat provided more protection the straightforward booster seat our baby is riding in, so it should go on the driver's side. Well, since this was not a choice, we had to switch the auto seat positions. Shortly they can both be forward facing anyhow, so it will not be an issue then. The seat was straightforward to install with the belt, and switches from rear facing to forward facing extraordinarily simply. The seat can hold infants 5-30 pounds rear facing and children 20-40 pounds forward facing. We figure this seat will last a considerable time since our three year old babe still only weighs 29 pounds! The top harness slots are a little low, so that the height wants will generally be outgrown before the weight necessities are met. The seat excels in safety reviews, which was the primary final thing we considered when making the purchase. The Comfort Sport Convert carseat by Graco is lined with EPS energy-absorbing froth liner round the children head. This froth is the same froth utilized in bike helmets. This is a feature that was important to us, and we were happy the Graco Comfort Sport had the EPS froth. The buckles are awfully user-friendly. Fixing the tightness is done simply with a pull tight strap in the front of the seat. The chest clip is a little hard, but after you unbuckle it a couple of times, you get into the swing of it. Twisting straps could be a slight problem, but we haven't found it to be a problem yet. My fave thing about this seat is definately the fabric. The Timber model is a great shade of brown that would work for both a boy or a girl. It is terribly soft to touch and won't heat up in the hot automobile in the summer. It would appear to be really powerful fabric which will stand the test of time! Overall, we've been terribly happy with our Graco Comfort Sport Convertible carseat, and I believe our girl has been too! |
